Our Profile — Since 1986 we have been committed to the highest quality and professional supply and fitment of pwer steering systems and driveshafts. With the successful merger in 1990 Autoshaft Services cc was established and has grown to become a leader in the rebuilding and refurbishing of these power steering and driveshaft units, maintaing state of the art equipment and fast and efficient fitment and service.

Having strong ties with the international market, especially the United States, technical support and in-depth training in hydraulics has enabled us to follow the international standards which have been used in the USA, and Europe. This involves the complete disassembly and thorough cleaning of each unit, infrared inspections, the re-chroming of necessary parts, replacements of all seals and o’rings with OEM specifications. The international approved pressure testing system enables us to test both flow and pressure within the required parameters, using alternatively oil and air.

With our expanssiion it became necessaty to rebuild these units at our PRO CV & STEERING Branches which are located in Cape Town, Johannesburg, and East London, thus enabling us to service our clients faster and more cost effectively.
